The Education Planners was created and developed by Joseph Navarro M.A. Ed. School Counseling - Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) to provide Adult students, High School students, parents, teachers, and School Counselors with resources and training for a deeper understanding of social emotional learning (SEL), education and career development. Our mobile classroom has provided instruction for Pasadena City College, Rio Hondo College, the Boys & Girls Clubs of La Habra and several Middle School and High schools in Los Angeles and Orange County areas. As a consultant I have worked directly with at risk populations including Foster Youth, McKinney Vento, and Probation Youth.

We have trained Foster Parents, Group Home Staff and parent groups to provide meaningful resources to their special student populations. Our instruction includes the use of the best practices from the most up to date curriculum including: Social Emotional Learning, Funds of Knowledge, Mindfulness Training, Restorative Practices & Motivational Interviewing. Strength-Based Training program for parents, teachers, administrators, and school counselors. Learn a proven strength-based approach to address student motivation and walk students through the process of self discovery. Identify your students innate strengths and apply them to the world of career and education. Learn how to inspire students to set short term & long term goals, make positive choices through a PBIS lens, and solutions leading to academic success.

Our Education Plan guides students through the critical steps to prepare for post secondary education. We identify what students will need to launch their educational goals by exploring: professional Certificate & Licensing options, Apprenticeships, completion of college applications, personal statements, financial aid and scholarship applications. All of our Education Planning is completed either one on one or small groups. We specialize in identifying the best career options and education based on your students interests. Education planning includes Academic Advising, Financial Aid overview, and Career Counseling. Our workshops are designed help you through the process of choosing the appropriate education or training you need to achieve your career goals.
